Meghalaya Basin Management Agency Hiring 55 Physical Education Instructors

Shillong: The Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) has opened recruitment for 55 Physical Education Instructor positions for the year 2026. This initiative aims to find qualified individuals to coach adolescents at foundational and intermediate levels across various sporting disciplines.

To qualify, applicants must hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Physical Education, such as BPE, BPEd, or MPEd. The agency prefers candidates with degrees from institutions recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Applicants should also possess at least one to two years of experience in training adolescents within school or community environments. Candidates who have won medals at recognized zonal, regional, national, or international championships will receive priority during the selection process.

Successful instructors will need a deep understanding of sports strategies and the ability to mentor youth. The agency values experience in organizing sports events and promoting inclusive participation for all genders and abilities. As noted in the official announcement, the recruitment process requires candidates to demonstrate proficiency in at least one recognized sport discipline.
