Imphal: Manipur's Congress Legislature Party is demanding answers. Party leader Keisham Meghachandra Singh questioned a recent meeting between Naga legislators and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. The session notably excluded Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh. Meghachandra blasted the move as unprecedented.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio led the delegation. Meghachandra argued that cutting the state leader out of internal discussions hurts the office's authority. He also pointed to the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho as a sign of deep internal fracture. He claimed the meeting highlights how the state's Naga legislators have lost faith in the current BJP leadership.

"The meeting symbolises that the current Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho and the Naga legislators have no trust in the present BJP Chief Minister of Manipur," he alleged. The Congress leader labeled the Chief Minister a paper tiger who lacks the power to run the government.

Meghachandra also took aim at Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen for working out of the capital. He insisted that officials belong at home during a security crisis rather than in Delhi. The BJP administration has yet to respond to these claims.
