Magik Cook Expands Food Lineup Across Meghalaya

Shillong: Shree Mahabir Foods expanded its Magik Cook brand in Meghalaya this week. The company rolled out Hakka noodles, pickles, and jams at a launch event in Shillong on Tuesday. Company leaders showed off the new goods at Maha Laxmi Store in Laban.

Managing Director Sanjeev Kumar Bajoria called the state a key market for the firm. He wants these products in every kitchen. "Our focus has always been on taste, trust, and quality. We aim to become a part of every family’s everyday meals, from quick snacks to traditional dining," he said.

The brand claims its items stand out because of clean production. CEO Anahita Bajoria said their air-dried noodles contain no palm oil. Workers prepare the pickles with traditional recipes and pure mustard oil.

Freshness drives their business model. The company tests every batch inside an in-house laboratory before shipping. Because of a dense regional distribution network, they reach local shelves faster than competitors hauling stock from far away.

The firm already sells Korean and Thukpa noodle varieties in the area. They plan to grow the product line further by 2027 after finishing more quality checks.
