Kuki Inpi Manipur Appoints Three New Leaders to Address State Security

Imphal: The Kuki Inpi Manipur, the apex representative body for Kuki tribes, has appointed three senior office-bearers to its executive wing. These immediate appointments aim to fortify the organization's administrative capacity as the state deals with a volatile law and order environment.

Yanglet Haokip will serve as Vice President of External affairs, while Lunseh Kipgen takes on the role of Vice President of Home and Relief. Additionally, Douminlal Haokip has been named Secretary of Organisation and Internal Security. According to the official announcement, the leadership changes are designed to help the organization better manage emerging challenges and community welfare responsibilities.

The newly appointed leaders were commissioned during a dedication and blessing ceremony led by Rev. Thangneo Haokip, the pastor of KBC Centre Church in Kangpokpi. The organization stated that the appointees must begin their duties immediately to ensure the efficient functioning of the group during this period of heightened security concerns.
