Kohima: Members of the Kohima Traders Association gathered in Kohima on May 25 to address the growing issue of unauthorized levies. During a media briefing, association officials expressed their firm opposition to the collection of illegal taxes that currently burden local businesses.

The group advocated for a streamlined approach under the banner of One Government, One Tax. By pushing for this policy, the association aims to eliminate multiple extortion points and ensure that business owners are not subjected to arbitrary financial demands from unauthorized groups.
