Itanagar: Police in Itanagar arrested a man regarding the molestation of a minor girl. The suspect has been held in judicial custody for a week. The charges fall under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Itanagar Superintendent of Police Jummar Basar confirmed the timeline of the detention. "The accused was arrested around a week ago in a POCSO case and has been in jail since," Basar said. Authorities are still working the case. The investigation remains active.
