Itanagar: Indus Towers rushed emergency supplies to flood-stricken families in Arunachal Pradesh. The company distributed 330 kits across the Keyi Panyor district to help those displaced by landslides and severe weather. Each package contains hygiene goods, clothing, medicine, and sanitation tools.
The company focused on helping children, the elderly, and women. Local officials joined the distribution effort to ensure the aid reached the right people. Attendees included MLA Toko Tatung, Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta, and Superintendent of Police Angad Mehta.
Rajender Gurung, Circle CEO for Indus Towers, framed the effort as a commitment to the community. He said, "In moments of crisis, communities need more than relief, they need reassurance that they are not alone." The company partnered with the North East Affected Area Development Society to manage the logistics of the handout.
MLA Toko Tatung praised the work. He noted that partnerships between the government and businesses help strengthen disaster response. The company intends for these supplies to provide basic dignity while residents begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
