Agartala: The Tripura Industry Owners' Association established a new 13-member committee during a special event at the Bodhjungnagar Industrial Complex. Members gathered to map out future growth and address pressing industrial hurdles. Leaders pushed for tighter coordination between units to expand the organization's reach.
The group honored children of local industrial workers who hit high marks in their studies. They handed out certificates to the high achievers to push them toward bigger academic goals. This move drew praise for supporting the families of laborers. One official stated, "While industrial development is vital, equal attention must be given to the welfare of workers and their families."
A health camp ran alongside the ceremony to offer check-ups and medical advice to local residents. Organizers pledged to continue running social welfare programs in the future. Notable guests included General Secretary Pan Gopal Saha, Ratan Biswas of Longtarai, Tripura Merchants' Association General Secretary Sujit Roy, and steel industry leader Vishal Solanki.
