Guwahati: IndiGo is moving all flight operations to Terminal 2 at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati. The change starts at 12.01 am on July 20. Every arrival and departure will happen exclusively at this new facility. Airport officials announced the shift on July 17.
This move marks a major milestone for the new integrated terminal. Officials aim to offer better facilities and world-class amenities to meet rising regional travel demand. The building draws inspiration from Assam culture. Its bamboo-themed design features modern infrastructure and sustainable principles. It has already earned international recognition for architectural excellence.
Passengers must head to Terminal 2 for check-in, security, and boarding. Staff will provide wayfinding signage and ground support to manage the transition. Airport authorities stated, "The migration of IndiGo's operations reinforces Guwahati Airport's commitment to enhancing connectivity and delivering an improved passenger experience as the gateway to Northeast India."
Check your flight status before you leave. Arrive at the airport early. IndiGo flight details remain the responsibility of the traveler to confirm before heading to the terminal.
