Shillong: The State Level Coordinator for the Oil Industry in Meghalaya, representing the Indian Oil Corporation, has formally assured the public that the supply of petrol, diesel, and LPG remains steady and uninterrupted across the state. Major public sector oil marketing firms, including Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, are maintaining efficient operations to ensure all fuel channels function without disruption.

Company officials confirmed that fuel stocks are being monitored closely, with consistent replenishment occurring at terminals, depots, and retail outlets throughout the region. Domestic LPG deliveries are currently being prioritized to ensure that household needs continue to be met without delay. The oil industry is actively managing logistics and stock movement to sustain these service levels.

In light of these reports, authorities have urged citizens to maintain their normal consumption patterns and refrain from panic buying. Consumers are also advised to ignore rumors and rely exclusively on official communications from oil marketing companies for accurate and verified information regarding fuel availability in the state.
