Dr. Chakma provided an overview of Tripura’s ethnic diversity, historical evolution, and unique geographical setting. He detailed the customs and lifestyles of the region's indigenous communities, noting how their specific knowledge systems and traditions contribute to the state's identity. During the event, he addressed the importance of preserving heritage in a modern context, stating, "He underlined the importance of safeguarding these cultural traditions while adapting to the challenges of a rapidly changing world."

Attendees participated in an interactive discussion regarding the state’s folk dances, handicrafts, and festivals. This event is part of a wider effort by the military to build stronger relationships with local populations and support national integration initiatives like Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. By engaging with experts, the Army aims to deepen the connection between personnel and the communities where they are stationed.
