Itanagar: The Indian Army and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police finished a joint training program in Arunachal Pradesh this Wednesday. The forces ran drills to sharpen their ability to work together across the state's high-altitude border zones. Soldiers faced tough terrain. They spent the exercise working on tactical maneuvers, mountain combat skills, and route planning.

Communication protocols took center stage during the sessions. The teams also practiced casualty evacuation and joint responses to emergency scenarios. These drills help the two forces stay ready for any potential threats on the frontier.

Defence Public Relations Officer Lt Col Mahendra Rawat stated the initiative proves the "seamless integration between the Indian Army and the ITBP" during demanding operations. The event is part of a wider effort to keep security forces aligned across India's sensitive border regions.
