Officials intend to keep the election peaceful. District Commissioner Sanjoy Dutta issued the mandate to regulate liquor consumption near the constituency border.

The restrictions hit 12 specific areas across the district. Residents in Nilbagan, Doboka, Jamunamukh, and Baliramgaon must stop buying booze. The ban also covers Nagayapam, Dekruwa, Akashiganga, Bheluguri, and Madartali. Finally, the order shuts down sales in Mikiriati Hougaon, Sarupathar, and Sardargaon.
