Guwahati: A high-level team from the Gauhati High Court landed in Dhubri, Assam, on June 29. They came to investigate the death of Shelly Mallick. Mallick worked as a Grade III stenographer for the local civil courts. She died on June 20. Authorities found her body hanging.

The probe follows a chilling post. Hours before her death, Mallick updated her WhatsApp status with a warning. She wrote: "Those who destroys anyone's life for grudge God will take care of it and return the same thing with interest. So wait for that time."

This message sparked fears of workplace harassment. The two-member judicial team will now dig into office records. They plan to grill court staff and judicial officers. The goal is to determine if office politics or personal grievances drove her to take her life. Local police are helping with the sweep. Officials have not released findings yet.
