Kohima: The Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organisation has scheduled a Central Executive Council meeting for June 3 in Tuensang. The organization issued a directive for all council members to attend, with attendance requirements based on tribal, frontal, and sub-unit strength.

Key political figures have been invited to participate in the discussions. These include Rajya Sabha MP Phangnon Konyak, all 20 members of the Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union, and various former parliamentarians who will serve as special guests.

A consultative meeting is set for June 2 to gather input from regional leadership. This session will host representatives from national and state political parties, alongside leaders from all six district units. Each political organization and tribal council is expected to send a three-member delegation to this preliminary event.
