Regarding public services, the district has reached 67 per cent completion on its smart meter installation project. The Deputy Commissioner urged officials to accelerate the remaining work to ensure the initiative finishes on schedule. The review also covered major infrastructure projects, including road construction, hospital upgrades, and the development of the district secretariat building.
Welfare programs showed strong performance, with the district hitting 180 per cent of its target for the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. Additionally, food security programs under the National Food Security Act maintained full coverage for over 48,000 beneficiaries.
