The Naga Council Dimapur demanded immediate arrests. They want law enforcement to target drug lords and gang members to face the full weight of the law. The council also urged church leaders and local citizens to help spot hidden drug stockpiles that threaten the youth.
The Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association backed the operation. On August 27, they praised the Anti Narcotic Task Force for its work. The association noted the seizure highlights the “unwavering commitment and vigilance” of local agencies. They maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding the misuse of medicine licenses.
Dealers caught peddling illegal goods damage the reputation of the pharmaceutical industry. The NMDA stated it “strongly condemns” such activity. They promised to assist officials in keeping the local trade ethical and drug-free.

The youth group slammed the use of Dimapur as a transit point for illicit substances and pushed for intelligence-based operations to target the entire supply chain, including procurement, storage, and transportation. They stressed that reaching a drug-free society requires a coordinated effort between the government, local communities, and the public.
