Shillong: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will open the Block Integrated Development Complex and the Block Resource Centre on July 18. The ceremony kicks off at 9 AM. It takes place at the office of the Block Development Officer for the Sohiong C&RD Block.
Sohiong MLA and MDC Synsharlang Lyngdoh will join the Chief Minister at the site. Several other dignitaries are expected to attend the event as well. After cutting the ribbon, Sangma heads to Mawtap Pyllun village. He will participate in the CM Connect programme held there. The village sits just 2 km from the block headquarters. As an official statement noted, "The inauguration will also be attended by the MLA/MDC of Sohiong, Synsharlang Lyngdoh and other dignitaries."
