Guwahati: Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi blasted the Central government on Thursday for its failure to manage the NEET paper leak. The scandal has left thousands of students in the dark. Gogoi told reporters in Delhi that the administration shows a total lack of accountability when public interests are at stake.
The Congress party demands clear answers on the testing irregularities. Gogoi argued that the government must address the crisis to maintain democratic trust. He stated, "Government has no accountability on this issue" while pressing for transparency on how exams are run nationwide.
Beyond NEET, the MP flagged systemic failures across multiple sectors. He pointed to ongoing struggles faced by farmers and Agniveers as proof of a wider governance breakdown. Allegations extend to UPSC and CBSE processes too. Gogoi insists that true democratic leadership requires immediate responsiveness to the people, not silence on these mounting recruitment failures.
