Kohima: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is marking India's 80th Independence Day with a fresh suite of digital deals. The state-run provider wants to push affordable connectivity across the country. They are backing the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Digital India visions with these new rollouts.
The company introduced the Re 1 Freedom 2.0 mobile offer. Users get 1 GB of data and 100 SMS every day for 24 days. The plan includes unlimited voice calls. BSNL also dropped the Fiber Freedom Plan at an introductory price of Rs 1,111 per month. This broadband deal delivers speeds up to 200 Mbps and 5,000 GB of monthly data. Customers also gain access to more than 25 premium OTT platforms.
Mobile subscribers can now use BSNL Entertainment TV at no extra cost. The service runs through the BSNL Self-care App. Powered by Tango, it streams live television and on-demand content to phones. The provider also highlighted its Global Satellite Phone Services for remote areas. These satellite links keep communication lines open where terrestrial networks fail.
The carrier stated that its workforce remains "dedicated to serving the nation by maintaining communication links even under harsh geographical and climatic conditions, supporting inclusive growth, and strengthening India's digital future." BSNL maintains that these steps improve customer service while expanding the reach of modern digital infrastructure.
