The game between Khoragaon Football Team and Barshangaon Football Team at the Chalantapara tournament stalled when a referee made a controversial call. Spectators saw red. They claimed the decision was wrong and vented their fury on the facility.
Angry fans ripped apart the tin-sheet fencing surrounding the pitch. The scene became chaotic as the situation escalated quickly. Personnel from the Jogighopa Police station arrived at the venue to restore order. Authorities have not yet confirmed any injuries or provided a full tally of the property damage caused by the crowd.
