Guwahati: Musibur Rahman brought a piece of Assam to the global stage. He attended the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States to honor the late singer Zubeen Garg. Rahman, a resident of Nagaon district, wore a T-shirt featuring the musician's portrait. He also carried a traditional gamosa that displayed the singer's image.

Garg was a massive football fan. He often traveled across the world to catch matches in person. By bringing these items to the tournament, Rahman put his home state's cultural identity front and center. Fans are praising the move as a way to promote the pride of Assam before an international audience.
