Guwahati: Madhu Boro traveled to Dambuk in Arunachal Pradesh on May 17 for work. The 40-year-old from Dhumarpathar, Assam, called his family after arriving. He has not been heard from since May 19. The trail is cold.

His family filed a missing person report at the Dhumarpathar Police Outpost. Weeks later, the investigation remains stalled. Relatives blame Gunjit Nath, a resident of Saudarbhitha in Baksa district, for organizing the trip. They remain deeply suspicious of the arrangements.

Boro's wife and daughter are desperate for news. They want police to stop dragging their feet. A relative highlighted the growing tension surrounding the disappearance: "The family has expressed concern and dissatisfaction regarding the circumstances under which he was taken for employment."

The family is now pleading for public assistance. They hope renewed pressure will force law enforcement to pick up the pace and find out exactly what happened to Boro.
