Guwahati: The Assam Chief Minister's Office officially flagged a fake image of Himanta Biswa Sarma circulating on social media. Officials confirmed the picture is a fabrication built with artificial intelligence. The office stated, "The image, created using artificial intelligence, has no basis in reality and was deliberately circulated to mislead the public and damage the Chief Minister's image."

Authorities have already registered a formal case regarding the incident. Investigators tracked down the individuals responsible for creating and sharing the content. Legal proceedings are currently underway to hold those involved accountable for their actions. The CMO promised strict action against everyone caught in the scheme.
