Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Praises Army for Border Health Initiative

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has praised the Indian Army for hosting a free medical camp in the Thingbu region. Organized by the Sela Warriors of the Gajraj Corps in partnership with the local civil administration, the event coincided with World No Tobacco Day.

More than 200 residents from remote border villages attended the camp to receive essential healthcare services and health awareness information. Khandu shared his support on X, noting that the military serves a dual purpose by protecting national borders and actively improving the lives of citizens in frontier areas.

The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the Sela Warriors and the Gajraj Corps for their commitment to public welfare. This collaborative effort highlights the ongoing cooperation between civil and military authorities to ensure residents in isolated regions have access to critical medical support.
