Arunachal Pradesh BJP Denies Rumors of Leadership Change

Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party has officially rejected reports suggesting an imminent change in state leadership. State party president Kaling Moyong characterized the claims circulating on digital and social media platforms as misleading and lacking any factual foundation.

Moyong emphasized that the party has held no discussions regarding the replacement of Chief Minister Pema Khandu. He stated that the leadership remains united and fully committed to its current governance agenda. According to the state president, these rumors are likely the work of vested interests attempting to damage the reputation of leaders involved in local development projects.

The party leadership traced the origin of these reports to digital outlets based in neighboring Assam, noting that no reputable news organizations within Arunachal Pradesh have substantiated the claims. Moyong confirmed that he and senior party functionary Nitin Nabin have reviewed the situation and found complete alignment on the issue of continued support for the Chief Minister.

These statements follow a similar dismissal from Tezu-Sunpura MLA Dr. Mohesh Chai, who previously labeled rumors concerning the stability of the state government as unfounded. By issuing these collective clarifications, the BJP aims to resolve the uncertainty and reaffirm its confidence in Pema Khandu.
