Itanagar: Arunachal officials ordered motorists to skip all non-essential trips on National Highway-13. Heavy rain turned the road into a hazard. The Pasighat to Pangin section is currently blocked. Multiple landslides hit the stretch between Rengging and Yembung.

Crews are working on a war footing to clear the mess. They have men and heavy gear on site right now. Still, the rain refuses to let up. Rockfalls and road subsidence remain a constant threat. Officials admit the conditions are dangerous.

The administration warned that the measures are strictly for public safety. "The administration has advised the public to avoid unnecessary travel on the affected stretches until normal conditions are restored."

Essential travel must happen in daylight only. Drivers should watch for vulnerable zones. Do not park in landslide spots. Follow orders from police and highway teams on the ground.
