Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu met with Pangchen Ding Groh representatives this week. Gaon Burah Nawang Choedak led the delegation from the Tawang region. The meeting highlighted the group’s dedication to Buddhist principles. They focus on non-violence and compassion.

Khandu praised the Pangchenpas for their traditional lifestyle. He noted how the community stays away from non-virtuous acts. They live in total harmony with nature and all sentient beings. This group truly represents the Monpa way of life.

The Chief Minister pushed for more tourism in the area. He wants outsiders to see how the village operates. "The village offers a unique opportunity to experience a community built on compassion and peaceful coexistence with all living beings," Khandu stated.
