Kohima: Glimmers will host its upcoming Arts Gathering at the Ura Academy in the Mission Compound of Kohima on October 2. The event begins at 4:00 PM. It showcases music, dance, fine arts, fashion, food, crafts, short films, and photography.
Glimmers president Avika Sekhose announced the event during a press conference held at Phasaings Restaurant. The program operates under the theme, "Glimmer of Hope: We Light Each Other Up."
The lineup includes performances and features from Theja Meru, k.h.y.o-k, Project-Anonymous Nagaland, Among Venuh, Khrielasier Liezietsu, Nukshi Wapang, and Angei Kamson. The group Glimmers began in 1980 with the goal to reach the unreached through various art forms. Zeneinuo Dozo, Jeh, and Vikeduo Sekhose also attended the announcement.
Standard entry costs Rs. 1000, which admits one family or five students. Donor tickets cost Rs. 5000. All tickets are available for purchase at D-Café. Lucky ticket holders can win prizes: an acoustic guitar takes first place, while a piece of artwork by Among Venuh serves as the second prize.
