Imphal: The Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT) Chakpikarong branch officially installed its executive members and Assembly Affairs team for the 2026-29 term. The oath-taking ceremony took place on Friday at the office of the Anal Naga Chief Association in the Chakpikarong sub-division.
Returning Officer Sr. Joningam administered the oath to the incoming leaders. He encouraged the team to embrace their responsibilities with sincerity, noting that leadership carries significant weight in the current climate. The executive board features several returning members, including President Rt. Sainial, General Secretary Hl. Michael, and Finance Secretary Bd. Winson. New additions to the leadership team include Vice President Lh. Oliver and Sports Secretary Sp. Joyngam.
In his address, President Rt. Sainial acknowledged the challenges ahead. He stated that effective leadership requires prioritizing the public over personal interests. He expressed optimism that the team would continue its history of success through the ongoing support of village youth clubs and the local community.
The Assembly Affairs body will be led by Speaker Sp. Wartha, Deputy Speaker Sp. Thangam, and Secretary Bd. Franky. Representatives from the ALT headquarters, the Anal Naga Chief Association, and various village chiefs attended the event to offer their support. Pastor Sng. Phorhrin concluded the ceremony with a blessing for the new officials.
