Addiction Survivors Raise Nearly 90k for Keyi Panyor Flood Victims

Itanagar: Recovering Warriors collected 89,094 rupees for flood victims in Keyi Panyor. The group, comprised of individuals overcoming addiction, ran a three-day donation drive. They hit the streets from July 3 to July 5. The team set up collection points at Oyan, Ruksin, and Pasighat markets.

Pasighat residents dug deep, donating 38,471 rupees. Oyan chipped in 28,340 rupees, while Ruksin added 22,283 rupees. The group accepted both cash and digital payments to get the money moving fast.

The cash went straight to the Ruksin Additional Deputy Commissioner. From there, it headed to the Keyi Panyor Deputy Commissioner for the district relief fund. It aims to provide food and gear for displaced families. Representative Mohan Tamut said, "Recovering Warriors representative Mohan Tamut thanked residents of Oyan, Ruksin, Pasighat and neighbouring areas for contributing to the campaign."
