Shillong: Abhilash Baranwal is set to assume his duties as the new Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills on Monday. He arrives from his previous post as the Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi.
He takes over the position from Rosetta Mary Kurbah. Kurbah has been moved to a new role serving as the Commissioner and Secretary for the Home (Police) and Tourism departments.
The change is part of a broader bureaucratic reshuffle announced earlier this month. As part of these personnel updates, Abhishek Saini has been appointed to serve as the new Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi.
