90.8 Hills FM Partners with Intanki National Park for Conservation

Kohima: 90.8 Hills FM and Intanki National Park inked a formal agreement to drive forest and wildlife conservation. The deal creates a direct line between park officials and the public. They signed the pact on August 25, 2026. It kicks off this September and runs for six months.

The partnership targets local communities. They want to get people talking about biodiversity and responsible human-wildlife interaction. The station plans to use radio broadcasts and digital content to spread the word. They will air public interest messages and specialized programs until February 2027.

This initiative moves conservation beyond park borders. It recognizes that success depends on collective action. "The partnership underscores the importance of communication and community involvement in conservation, recognising that protecting forests and wildlife extends beyond protected area boundaries and requires greater public understanding and participation."

Both sides will work together on these awareness campaigns. They plan to highlight ongoing efforts to protect the park and its natural heritage through early next year.
