Agartala: Tripura officials are gearing up for the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026. The state expects the massive event to net Rs 1 lakh crore in investment proposals. It hits the International Fair Ground in Hapania this July 9 and 10.

Jeya Ragul Geshan B. led a high-level review at IT Bhavan this Monday. His team focused on the IT Pavilion and logistics for the two-day summit. The government wants to turn Tripura into a major economic gateway for the Northeast.

Union Minister for Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya Scindia will attend the launch. The venue will host over 20 stalls from government bodies and Central Public Sector Undertakings. These exhibits show off development projects to draw in cash.

Around 500 delegates will pack the house. Officials confirmed that international consultants and embassy staff from nations including Bangladesh, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, the Maldives, Nepal, and Uzbekistan are on the guest list. Representatives from Russia and Indonesia also signaled their intent to show up. Organizers hope the event helps "strengthen international partnerships" during this push for growth.
