Tripura Officials Dismiss Community Health Officer Exam Leak Allegations

Agartala: Tripura government officials say the recruitment exam for Community Health Officers remains valid. Chief Minister's secretary Kiran Gitte addressed the press at the secretariat on Thursday to squash claims of cheating. A probe committee examined the entire process after candidates raised red flags. They found zero proof of misconduct.

The test for 126 positions occurred on February 1 across 12 different centers. Exactly 2,614 candidates sat for the exam under the National Health Mission. Results went public on July 15. No one mentioned a leak until after the grading finished. Gitte insists the process was clean. "The examination was held in a complete transparent manner," Gitte said. NHM Tripura Mission Director Saju Vaheed A sat alongside Gitte during the conference to back the findings. Officials now ask all applicants to trust the results.
