Tripura Minister Inspects Unakoti District Hospital

Agartala: Tripura Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das arrived at the Unakoti District Hospital in Bhagaban Nagar, Kailashahar, on Monday. District Magistrate Megha Jain accompanied him during the visit. The minister walked the wards to inspect facility standards and hospital infrastructure.

He grilled doctors and staff on current service levels. Das talked to patients to see if they were getting the care promised by the state. The minister demanded better service for everyday people. He told administrators to upgrade the facilities and tighten up operations. Service must improve. His talks with officials focused on closing the gap between government policy and actual patient care.

The visit aimed to hold the institution accountable. The administration wants a higher standard of care for the community. During the inspection, Das noted, "The hospital must ensure accessible and upgraded medical services for ordinary citizens." He continues to monitor public health institutions to bridge the divide between local needs and state welfare efforts.
