Kohima: St. Joseph’s College in Jakhama finished a five-day training program on July 7, 2026. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Research and Development Cell ran the sessions. They aimed to push AI into classrooms and campus offices. Teachers learned how to use tech for better research and student management.
Experts from North Eastern Hill University, the District Mental Health Programme in Kohima, and St. Aloysius University led the training. They covered prompt engineering and how to build AI-assisted assessments. Ethics held a heavy focus. The program promised "AI Powered Academia: Managerial Skills and Teaching Learning & Research Strategies" to keep staff sharp.
Staff dove into hands-on work. They looked at student mentoring and mental health support. The sessions broke down how to use software for grading and daily paperwork. Everyone walked away with new tools for the upcoming school year.
