Dimapur Industrial Units Urged to Follow Air Quality Standards

Kohima: Industrial operators met at Hotel Saramati in Dimapur on August 28. The District Industries Centre and the Nagaland Pollution Control Board hosted the session. They aimed to push firms toward better environmental protection and clean air compliance. Factories must follow the rules. This event fell under the National Clean Air Programme.

Functional Manager N. Abeno Lotha ran the meeting. Keynote speaker Jethro Mesen pushed for cleaner industrial habits. He told the room, "The importance of responsible industrial practices and collective efforts towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment" remains the goal. Pollution hits everyone.

She wants firms to adopt sustainable tactics right now. Success requires teamwork. Functional Manager Kiyelu T. Yeptho ended the day by calling for better ties between business owners and state regulators.
