Shillong - Imphal direct flight suspended as of October 2026

Imphal: The direct Shillong - Imphal flight operated by IndiGo has disappeared from the airline's booking schedule, leaving passengers without a direct air connection between the two North East capitals of Meghalaya and Manipur.

IndiGo’s official booking portal shows “No Flights Found” for all future dates checked by our correspondent. An IndiGo staff member also said there had been no communication regarding the service.

The route was being operated three times a week under flight numbers 6E7686/6E7685, using ATR 72 aircraft. The service was launched on August 3, 2021, under the Centre’s UDAN regional connectivity scheme, initially with four weekly flights.

IndiGo has not announced a reason for the withdrawal, nor clarified whether the suspension is temporary or permanent.

Third-party booking platforms also show no direct flights on future dates, with available options requiring a stopover in Kolkata and taking around six hours, as seen in current listings.
