Security Forces Rescue Abducted Resident in Manipur's Moreh Town

Imphal: Security forces operating in the border town of Moreh, Manipur, successfully rescued a 50-year-old man who had been abducted by suspected militants. Ngamsom Baite, a resident of B. Bongjang Village in the Tengnoupal district, was safely reunited with his family following a precise recovery mission.

The abduction occurred when suspected cadres of a proscribed militant group seized Baite from his village. Authorities acted on intelligence reports, launching a search operation that led them to the Gate No. 1 area near the Moreh Police Station. Security personnel managed to secure the victim without any reported injuries.
