Itanagar: Construction crews broke ground on a new motorable road in Arunachal Pradesh. The project connects Nenuliang to Zapaliang in the remote Anjaw district. Villages along the Lohit River have struggled with poor access for decades. Khrangliang, Naraliang, Zapaliang, Rangam, and Lamaliang finally have a path forward.

The route promises better access to schools, hospitals, and markets. Residents expect a massive shift in their local economy. It cuts through isolation. Local leaders view this project as a bridge to a better future for those living on the front lines of the Indo-China border.

Minister Dasanglu Pul thanked Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein for backing the initiative. She noted that the work shows the government is focused on difficult terrain. She stated, "The project reflects the government's vision of ensuring that the benefits of development reach every village and citizen, regardless of geographical challenges."
