Guwahati: Railway Police swarmed the down Silchar-Rangiya Express at Chaparmukh, Assam, during a routine operation. They found a bag stashed under a passenger seat. The bag held a heavy haul of suspected cannabis.
The courier panicked. Sensing the officers, the suspect bolted from the train and vanished. No arrests have been made. The search for the individual remains active as investigators dig into the incident. Authorities stated, "Further investigation is underway to identify the person behind the attempted transportation of the contraband."
