Shillong: Shillong police are hunting for 40-year-old Arjun Ram, missing since December 18, 2018. Ram stands 5 feet 6 inches tall with a muscular build, an oval face, and a pointed nose. He last wore a blue-and-black checkered shirt, multicoloured shorts, and black slippers. Police promise total anonymity for anyone coming forward.
Education takes a high-tech turn at Army Public School Happy Valley. The school launched a hydroponic lab on July 14, marking the first time a school in East Khasi Hills has added soil-less farming to its curriculum. Students will study plant nutrition and sustainable agriculture using nutrient-rich water instead of dirt. The school says "the initiative is designed to promote experiential learning and encourage students to study sustainable agricultural solutions."
