Kohima: The Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation is bringing a District Handloom Expo to Pfutsero. The event runs from July 13 to 18 in Phek district. It has backing from the Union Ministry of Textiles in New Delhi.
Organizers want local weavers and artisans to join the show. Interested sellers must drop off applications at the Project Cell office in Half Nagarjan, Dimapur. The deadline for entries is July 10 during standard office hours.
The corporation is picking up the tab. "Each participant will be provided a stall at no cost," officials stated. The organizers will also cover freight charges and provide a lump-sum allowance for travel and daily expenses to every stall holder.
