Guwahati: Heavy trucks are choking Pathsala. Commercial vehicles are rolling through town despite a clear ban on movement between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Commuters are fed up. The rogue trucks turn busy roads into parking lots during peak hours.

Students and shoppers struggle to cross the streets. The massive rigs slow down traffic, creating long queues that trap pedestrians, two-wheelers, and small cars. Locals claim the congestion happens daily because these heavy vehicles disregard the set rules.
