Oriental College Kohima Hosts Free Community Health Camp

Kohima: Oriental College Kohima hosted a free health camp on June 12 to promote a healthier and more productive academic environment. Organized by the college’s Women Cell and Infirmary, the event operated under the theme, "Small Steps, Big Health Benefits."

A team of specialized healthcare professionals provided a wide range of services for students and faculty. The resource team included Dr. Bilva Yalie from the Urban Health Centre in Seikhazou, dentist Dr. Kediphruonuo Shiiya, and dermatologist Dr. Victor Semy from the State Mental Health Kohima office.

The camp offered general health evaluations, including blood pressure monitoring and blood sugar testing. In coordination with the ongoing 100 days TB Mukht Bharat Abhiyan campaign, organizers also provided free medical consultations alongside advanced diagnostic services like molecular testing and hand-held X-rays.
