NSUD Rejects Kuki-Zo Council Statement Over Six Naga Civilian Deaths

Imphal: The Naga Students’ Union, Delhi, hit back at the Kuki-Zo Council today. The union dismissed the Council's recent statement as a hollow attempt to excuse the killing of six Naga civilians. Armed Kuki terrorists allegedly held the victims hostage before the murders. The union claims the Council failed to accept real responsibility for these actions.

NSUD officials lashed out at the Council for calling their people Katcha Nagas. This slur ignores history. The union called the label an "egregious and inhumane" act that attacks the dignity and identity of the Naga community. They argue such insults show a lack of respect and distort established facts.

Justice remains the priority. The union demands the Council identify and hand over the killers to the police. They want to know if the Council is actually tied to the perpetrators of the violence. Words are not enough. The union insists the government must enforce the law and follow the Charter of Demands from the United Naga Council. True peace requires accountability, not just empty talk.
