NPF Calls Out Widespread Staff Absence and Decay in Peren District Offices

Kohima: The Naga People's Front Peren Division issued a stinging rebuke today after finding district government offices abandoned and falling apart. General Secretary Kacham reported the findings following a site inspection of several public establishments. The party found a pattern of missing staff and rotting buildings throughout the region.

The district hospital is in bad shape. Leaking roofs and worn-out structures plague the in-patients building. At the Chief Veterinary Officer's office, the team found nothing but a single Multi Task Service staff member. The roof there leaks, and the furniture is garbage. Things are no better at the District Horticulture Office or the District Industries Centre. Those locations also lacked any officials, leaving only MTS staff to man the desks.

The District Rural Development Agency office was even worse. The party claims no office staff were present, and construction workers took over the rooms with their gear. The party called this state of affairs "highly dismaying." It blamed this total lack of oversight for ruining the reputation of public service.

The District Agriculture Officer and the District Fishery Officer were officially busy and could not meet the team. The NPF is now demanding answers regarding these gaps in governance. They want to know why desks remain empty and if the public is paying for work that never gets done.
