NIT Nagaland Seeks Junior Research Fellow for 2026 Material Science Project

Kohima: NIT Nagaland is hiring a Junior Research Fellow for a new research project. The position falls under the Partnership for Accelerated Innovation and Research of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. The specific initiative is titled, "An Eight Institution Partnership for Advanced Materials Research and Development: From Fundamental Design to Emerging Applications in Structural, Functional and Biomaterials Spaces."

Applicants need a degree in mechanical, production, materials science, metallurgical, aerospace, or aeronautical engineering, or physics. You must hold an M.E., M.Tech, M.S., or M.Sc. Academic requirements demand at least 60 percent marks or a 6.5 CGPA in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. You also need a valid GATE or NET score. Previous research experience in materials science is preferred.
