Kohima: The Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Kevilhousa Kense, who served as the general secretary of the Kohima District Wushu Association (KDWA). NWA president Kudecho Khamo and general secretary Vekhozo honored Kense for his tireless efforts to promote the sport both within the district and across the state.
In a formal condolence message, the NWA described the impact of his death on the local sports community, stating, "His sudden demise is a great loss to the Wushu family, and the void left by his passing will be difficult to fill." Association officials emphasized that his dedication to developing Wushu athletes will remain a lasting legacy.
The Kohima District Wushu Association also released a tribute praising Kense for his leadership, humility, and unwavering support for the sporting community. KDWA president Khisanol Viswentso noted that the loss is felt deeply by the organization and the broader sporting fraternity throughout the region.
